My mother had a great deal of trouble with me, but I think she enjoyed it.
I have been following Kyra Root’s story on a Facebook for awhile. Kyra was an 8 year old little girl with big dreams who was fighting osteosarcoma (bone cancer). I celebrated along with many others when she went into remission and was devastated when the cancer came back. On Tuesday she lost her battle to cancer. Purple was her favorite color and she had so much more to give. Her family needs help and has set up a website where you can donate money towards her funeral. If you want to send flowers here are some addresses where they can be sent LIFEChurch, 1416 Larkin-Williams Road, Fenton, MO 63026 or Fieser Funeral Home, 401 Gravois Rd, Fenton, MO 63026.
act of kindness #18 Gave to Kyra
My mom has an amazing set of friends and it was always important to her to take care of the people who were around her and the people she loved so much. I want to continue taking care of the people she loved so we chose to donate to Lupus of America. you can donate at http://donate.lupus.org . I did a one time donation and just selected the amount I wanted to give. In order to give to Lupus you can also donate
- Clothing — all types and sizes
- Shoes — all types and sizes
- All bedding items
- Draperies and curtains
- Housewares and glassware
- Jewelry and cosmetics
- Toys and games
- Knick knacks
- Small appliances
- Tools of all kinds

#20 while grocery shopping John helped load a lady who bought a pallet of flower and sugar into her car. I hope she was cooking something good!
I’m sorry my blogs have not been very regular. I am about as good of a blogger as I am a baker ( I burn everything!). I have been so busy staying at home with the boys, we are always on the move and somehow I have to squeeze in studying for my pathophysiology class I have been taking and I have been going to the gym everyday for one hour so I can be around adults and rehab my leg. These acts of kindness and this blog is not taking a backseat, I just don’t have time to right a meaningful blog every time I do an act of kindness. I cant believe I only have 42 more to do!
