Becoming a penpal

“As mothers and daughters, we are connected with one another. My mother is the bones of my spine, keeping me straight and true. She is my blood, making sure it runs rich and strong. She is the beating of my heart. I cannot now imagine a life without her.”

So originally I had the idea to become pen pals with a military service member, but it is really hard to find a site that I completely trust. So I searched the internet today and found a few people that interested me and that I thought could use a pen pal and wrote them. Hopefully someone writes me back. I also did sign up to adopted a soldier today but since i’m unsure of the website i’m not counting it to the official acts of kindness count. If it does pan out or I find a site I like I will share it with you because I do feel it is so important to support our military men & women.

Today was a rough day for me, It seems like life likes to pile on you all at once. It was just one of those days that I could have used my mom’s advice or just a hug from my mom. She always knew exactly what to say, she made anything seem possible.  All I know is that the days most be brighter in front of us.

Im really excited about tomorrows act of kindness, Hopefully I won’t be tired and will be able to update this blog about it tomorrow night.

well thats 6 down only 56 more random acts to go
